Maine trip and job search

ionelvWe just returned from a one-week vacation in Maine (not after we had a false start minutes after a tour at the Red Hook Brewery in Portsmouth). We managed to get into Bristol, Maine just after 9pm on Saturday night and stayed at a cabin in the woods and trekked around to Wiscasset, Boothbay Harbor, Pemaquid Lighthouse, Rockland and Camden. My job search will continue now after this interruption. Just before leaving on vacation I caved in and talked to a recruiter who assured me he'll find me a job even if it's in Cambridge. I hope he does better than I did (not even one contact after about 15+ job applications out of which I was a very good match for about 5 job postings). Besides continuing to apply for jobs on my own, I'll probably talk to another recruiter to cover the Southern NH and Northern Mass better since this guy seems to be based out of Boston and steering me towards jobs close to Boston. Wish me luck!
