The ponies are here!

Thursday afternoon, Bentley and Pearl arrived. They are something else (both very sweet and apparently together nearly since they were born about 5 years ago). We finished their shelter half an hour before they arrived and yesterday we installed a camera (with infrared capability for night time) to watch them around the clock :) 

We are still working on getting Athena's shelter ready (bought two more roof panels on Sunday for a total of 8 needed, installed 2nd wall and 7.5 of 8 rafters for the roof yesterday as well). We need to complete the last rafter (some 2x4 cutting needed 10' off the ground), add some 2x4x10 traversal supports on top of the rafters for the roof panels, one more exterior wall to complete the outside, and a bunch of kickboards, a little gravel for drainage and rubber mats on the inside. We're slowly getting there even if weather is going to turn for the worse going forward.
