US vs Canadian healthcare admin costs

10 years ago, I wrote a letter to the NY Review of Books about a recent article on US healthcare in the wake of the Obamacare proposal and debates. My letter pointed out the big difference in admin costs between profit insurance (up to 25%) and non-profit (up to 10%). I thought that the authors reply was a straight up deflection of my criticism (see link above).
