Palestinian full membership at UN

ionelvApparently, there were two votes recently about Palestinian full UN membership:
* On April 18th, UN Security council voted 12 for, 2 abstentions (UK and Switzerland) and, as usual, 1 against (USA).
* On May 10th, UN nations voted overwhelmingly for Palestinian full UN membership. Canada was one of 25 abstentions.
Also, recently, Dan Rather hinted on his substack of a potential megadeal between US, Israel and Saudi Arabia that might include a two-state solution and a Gaza rebuilding plan. I will believe it when I see it.
