ionelvToday, I caught up with my backlog of substacks. Two threads stood out to me:
- Today, Slavoj Zizek draws some interesting parallels between the Catholic pedophilia scandal and the IDF Gaza campaign.
- Back in November, Lee Camp argued not only that Israel had plenty of warnings about Oct 7 from its own SIGINT ops, from US and from Egypt with detailed blueprints that turned out quite accurate, but that it unlocked all its 'doors', it willingly pulled its own pants down to its ankles, tied its own shoelaces together, filled its pockets with rocks and put on noise-cancelling headphones while picking mushrooms in the desert on Oct 7 and that the 1200 victims are not entirely Hamas as many of them were intentional friendly fire due to the Hannibal directive getting activated on October 7 and ultimately it willingly destroyed video footage and physical evidence of the deed on the flimsiest of excuses. I am shocked, completely and utterly shocked that anyone would even suggest that a country that has treated Palestinians and its own non-Jewish citizens with the utmost respect and even-handedness for almost eight decades, would do such a thing out of the blue.
