Last night I watched a CBC Docs POV about Colten Boushie's death and trial and it struck me how different the family's take on it was from the official version. What also struck me is how someone that shoots a man at point blank range (even if due to hang fire as defense claimed) gets away with not even a manslaughter charge. The fact that jury was all white and five indigeneous candidate jurors were rejected by the defense, does not help instill confidence in the system.
