Travelling from Toronto to Quebec City

We were trying to figure out how much it would cost round-trip to get from TO to Quebec City late October. It's about $200 in gas costs alone if we were to drive there (8 hrs one way). It's roughly over $300/person to fly (1.5 hrs one way) or go by Greyhound (12+ hrs one way) and slightly under $250/person by VIA rail (9 hrs one way; Supersaver fare for most of it except the Montreal to Toronto return leg for which Discounted was the cheapest available option).
