Btselem.org has an excellent infographic story on how Israel's conquer and divide strategy worked in the occupied territories since 1967 and it also has a number of articles about the dreaded A word: apartheid (also uttered in 2021 by HRW and 2022 by Amnesty International). Israel has also changed its rules of engagement for the worse: Dahiya doctrine and now employs double tap strikes (which is a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and which US, Russia, Palestinians and Syria also do).
Even the US Dept of State in its 2005 report on Israel observed:
As recently as 2021, US Dept of State observations on Israel have not changed much (maybe even got worse given the recent controversial 2018 Nation-State law):
That the West's numerous attempts over the years only resulted in a temporary pullback from Gaza and a captive self-government rule of Bantustans in the West Bank is a testament to its partiality, unfairness and guilty conscience (over its historical and current antisemitism, relentless conspiracy theories, broken promises, expulsions, pogroms and Holocaust), and also to UN's almost completely useless role (starting with the 1947 partition plan itself, the numerous toothless or vetoed resolutions and up to today's UNWRA humanitarian efforts that merely change dresses on a gangrenous wound).

The Government did little to reduce institutional, legal, and societal discrimination against the country's Arab citizens.
