Once in a while, the TV gods hit a home run (e.g. Lost, BSG/2004, Westworld) and this year's is Outer Range. Take as an example, this prayer from Royal:

"Dear God, we pray for our family. We ask that you forgive us. We ask that you show us the way here because we’re in trouble. You made this crazy world, maybe you can give us some sort of hint as to what you’re up to because I don’t have the first f**king clue,” he says. “There is a big distance between you and us. There is a great void. I’m asking you to fill that void. I’m asking you to fill that void."

Star Trek: Picard ain't shabby either. It improved considerably in the 3rd season. It is bitter sweet to watch Patrick Stewart's career sunset after watching him in his prime in ST:TNG, but also nice to watch Brent Spinner spread his dark wings as Dr Soong. Q's unexpected mortality made me think of Luceafarul and more generically of the gnostic Demiurge.

Freddie DeBoer writes some strong fan opinions about Star Wars psychology and missed opportunities

Wes Studi was interviewed by Unreserved back in 2019 and he had some strong opinions about Westerns and USian mythology building (~28').

I recently found out (again?) about DOSBox. It appears that Internet Archive has a whole archive of DOS games (7300+). Among them, some favorites of mine (or redo's): Tetris (1987), Broderbund's Wings of Fury (1989), Mega Phoenix (1992), Galaga (1994).
