Reading about friendly fire: how IDF killed its own citizens or escaped hostages in its blind fury against Hamas, it makes a lot more sense why the Palestinian civilian casulaties are so high and will continue to climb as IDF is willing to inflict a lot of collateral damage as long as they also hit POTENTIAL military targets. Geneva conventions be damned. Bombs away!

Apparently, Israel is attempting to reign in the IDF free-for-all killings (and/or managing international public opinion): IDF fired two senior officers involved in the WCK killings.
