Pets and music smorgasboard

ionelvToday, I weighed myself, and the pets. I weigh 202 lbs and the cat caught up from behind our dog: they weigh exactly 16.4 lbs each. Pătrăţel is 15 months old and Corcodel is 5 years old.
Nice finds on youtube: Laurel and Hardy and Chaplin dancing Greek folk dances. More finds: Balanescu Quartet (or with David Byrne) playing Kraftwerk's Model. And since we're talking Kraftwerk, Radioactivity needs mentioned. I mean, we're talking 1975, ahead of all the dance club electronica craze nowadays which might have been deeply seeded by Kraftwerk pioneering. Which brings me to some favorite styles of club music: house and trance. Here are good samples recorded last month live at Amnesia from Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz sets. This lead me to Roisin Murphy and to her Ramalama Bang Bang which I first heard during the Zombies group routine on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 2).
